Lonnie was born on Thursday, May 16, 1946, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to James Gordon Garrett and Lucille Helms Garrett. Lonnie was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend.

Lonnie is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rowe Garrett; and his parents, James Gordon Garrett and Lucille Helms Garrett. Lonnie is survived by his sons, Ted Garrett, Tim Garrett, Ken Garrett, and Brett (Amy) Garrett, all of Pocahontas; daughter, Kimberly (David) Crowe, of Pocahontas; brother, Don Garrett, of Pocahontas; and grandchildren, Chase Garrett, Aimee Berg, and Stephanie Mero. All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. A memorial service will immediately follow, beginning at 7:00 pm. Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition.
