Lonny D. “Lon” Slowey, 49 of Milwaukee, Wisconsin formerly of Dubuque passed away on November 11, 2018 in Milwaukee, WI. A private family service will be held at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. Lon was born on February 26, 1969 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Dennis and Linda (Freiburger) Slowey.

He graduated from Wahlert High School in 1987 and received his BA from the University of Northern Iowa in 1991. He married Rhonda Weber on October 16, 1992 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Lon is survived by his daughter Hannah, of Cedar Rapids, IA; his former wife Rhonda (Weber) Slowey, of Cedar Rapids, IA; his parents, Dennis and Linda Slowey; his sister Tonya (Jason) Grawe, both of Dubuque, IA; and a brother Chad (Kathy) Slowey, of St. Donatus, IA.
