Richard “Dick” Dunwoody, 71 of Dubuque, died December 25th, 2018 at Mercy hospital in Dubuque. According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Dick was born in Dubuque on August 22nd, 1947, son of Richard and Virginia (Seitz) Dunwoody.

He met Charlene George and they were married May 6th, 1964. Dick worked for Jeff Jackson Tuckpointing where he was an excellent tuck pointer. He is survived by his wife Charlene, his son Michael (Steph) Dunwoody, six grandchildren, three brothers Jack (Jean), of Dubuque, Frank (Sun), and Tom (Connie) of Jacksonville, Fl.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Lynn, and his son Rick. Dick’s family wishes to send a special thank you to Deborah Hahlen for her help at this time.
