Scott A. Tuthill, 53, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on December 1, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center. According to Scott’s wishes no public visitation or service will be held. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.

Scott was born on January 9, 1965 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Carl and Marjorie (Goetzinger) Tuthill. He graduated from Hempstead High School in 1983. Scott enjoyed fishing and carpentry, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter Jessica (Nathan) Steffen; two sons Robert (fiance Kaitlynn Robinson) Tuthill, and Jason Tuthill. Grandchildren Harper, Emersyn and Cameron. His parents Carl and Marjorie Tuthill and his siblings Becky (Paul) Shappell, Margie (Lance) Thompson, Tim (Carol) Tuthill and Rod (Sharon) Tuthill.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Leo and Maggie Goetzinger, paternal grandparents John and Naomi Tuthill and his identical twin brother Darran Tuthill. The family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Medical Center especially the CVU and Intensive Care Unit for all their care and kindness.
