Dateline: Fayetteville Mrs. Lora Ann Lowery Burch, 59, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Lora was born in Robeson County on November 10, 1959 to the late Horace Oxendine and Sarah J. Lee. She worked in textiles before retirement, loved her family and was very creative and enjoyed gel pen coloring.

She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Terry L. Oxendine, Gaylor A. Oxendine and Kimberly S. Lee. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward W. Burch Jr. of the home; a son, Terry L. Lowery (Cykia) of Fayetteville; daughters, Christina Junius and Felicia Lowery, both of Fayetteville; a brother, Christopher L. Oxendine; sisters, Jenell O’Fay (Cray) and Celeste R. Oxendine; grandchildren, Kalia A. Lowery, Khloi L. Lowery and Travis Brewington.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Cape Fear Baptist Church, 100 Indian Dr. Fayetteville, NC 28312. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 noon at the church with Rev. David Kamaka and Pastor Tony Brewington officiating.

Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. Services for the family are entrusted to LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
