Lori Lynn Rosten Thompson , June 11, 1970 — November 27, 2018

Lori Lynn Thompson, age 48, of Annandale, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating.

Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, French Lake. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Lori Lynn Thompson was born June 11, 1970 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Dan and Barb (Olson) Rosten.

Lori grew up near French Lake and attended school in Annandale, where she graduated with the Class of 1988. On June 27, 1992 Lori was united in marriage to Keith Andrew Thompson at Zion United Methodist Church in South Haven. In addition to maintaining their home, Lori also raised three wonderful boys.

Lori always had a special place in heart for children. It did not matter if they were family or friends, children always gravitated towards her. She will lovingly be remembered as a fantastic cook, as many were able to enjoy the meals Lori made.

Lori loved to laugh and had a laugh that filled a room with not only sound, but warmth. She always put other people and their needs before her own and was there to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed sitting out back watching the birds and deer.

Lori liked being in the presence of her special companion, her dog Buddy. She never turned down the opportunity to be on the water, as the lake was her happy place. Above all, Lori cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, especially with her three sons.

Lori is survived by her husband, Keith of Annandale; sons, Lucas, Jacob, and Nicholas of Annandale; parents, Dan and Barb Rosten of Annandale; siblings, Tanya (Aaron) Purcell of Buffalo and Joshua (Becky) Rosten of Annandale; and her adoring nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence & Sadie Olson and Jacob & Ruby Rosten, and godparents, Harold & Lucille Anderson. Keith, Lucas, Jacob, and Nicholas Thompson, Joshua Rosten, and Aaron Purcell will serve as pallbearers.

Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
