Obituary for Lorina “Lorene” McCall Lorina “Lorene” McCall, age 80, of Balsam Grove, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Mrs. McCall was born on June 28, 1938 in Transylvania County, NC to the late Roy and Myrtle Galloway McCall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George V. McCall, Jr.; one daughter, Brenda Prado; one son, Phillip McCall.

Survivors include one daughter, Margaret McCall of Balsam Grove; one son, Dennis McCall and wife Susie of Balsam Grove; one brother, Truitt McCall and wife Willa Mae of Mills River; five grandchildren, Scotty McCall, Jason McCall, George Prado, Ruben Prado, Jr., Lorry Newman; several great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Moody-Connolly Life Celebrations is caring for the family.
