Lorraine Demitus (Nee: Lagus), 76, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong resident of Bayonne, Lorraine took pride in her many years raising a family. She was employed as a secretary for Scott Printing in Jersey City and then as a decoder for the United States Postal Service in Kearny, NJ prior to her retirement.

In her spare time Lorraine was an avid pool player for Post 19 Bayonne where she was instrumental in planning and overseeing her teammates tournament competitions in Las Vegas for 3 years consecutively. She was also an active Auxiliary member of the American Legion Post 358 in Leonardo, NJ. Lorraine was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank J. Demitus and her paramour, Thomas Luzzi.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Debra Demitus Gerardi and husband William Sr., Kathleen Demitus Lewkowicz and husband Richard, her adored grandchildren, Jillian and Anthony Gerardi, her sister Barbara Brett, and her best friend, Marie Campagnola.
