OBITUARY Lou Esposito February 29, 1924 – September 17, 2018 Louis S. Esposito, 94, of Old Tappan passed away peacefully on September 17, 2018. Beloved husband of Virginia (predeceased). Devoted father of John and his wife Sue, Janet (Esposito) Griese and Duane, Larry and his wife Lisa Hanger.

Brother to Nancy, Dolly, Francis and Rose Martin. Loving grandfather of Kurt, Nikki (Steinmetz) and husband Josh, Hunter and Alex. Lou was born in Ridgefield, NJ and graduated from NYU with a degree in Civil Engineering.

Lou built a home and moved to Old Tappan with Virginia in 1953. He was among the first parishioners of St. Pius X in Old Tappan where he was a member of the choir, an usher and a deacon. Lou was an avid gardener and enjoyed hunting and deep-sea fishing.

During his career with Jos. Muscarelle, J.L. Williams and Vantage Corporation he rose to Vice President. The family will receive their friends on Friday September 21 from 5-8pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ.

A Mass celebrating Lou’s life and faith will be held on Saturday the 22nd at 10:30 at St. Pius X, 268 Old Tappan Rd with interment to follow at Old Tappan cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Old Tappan Ambulance Corp, 4 Russell Ave, Old Tappan, NJ 07675.
