Louie was born on May 15, 1941 in Denver, Colorado to Ignacio and Carmen Mackintosh. He was married to the love of his life, Roberta Harris, on May 21, 1966.

Together, they raised their daughter, Macala, the other love of his life. He studied his profession and became a member of the Denver Pipefitters Local 208, in October 10, 1967. Louie loved the outdoors.

He loved camping and fishing. He and Roberta spent a lot of time with family enjoying both. He loved old cars, and watching his Denver Broncos play.

Louie was a wonderful, devoted husband and father. He was a generous man with his hugs and very affectionate with his loved ones. He loved his family and his friends, and was loved by many.

Louie was a man who could always be counted on, always the first to be there when someone needed help. Louie is preceded in death by his wife Roberta, father Ignacio, mother Carmen and many brothers and sisters. He is survived by one child, Macala, very much a daughter Cherie, brother Willie, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Through marriage Louie acquired an additional family that cherished him. He was loved by them as a son, brother, and uncle. A Memorial service for Louie will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2019, at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, 1102 Lincoln Ave.

, Loveland, CO. 80537. Interment, Greenlawn Cemetery, Berthoud, CO.
