Louis Tyrone Corso, 80, of Pana, Illinois died Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 9:15 PM at his residence in Pana. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Louis Tyrone Corso was born Monday, June 6, 1938 in Taylorville, Illinois the son of Louis Edelmo and Elizabeth Pauline (maiden name Bailey) Corso.

He was raised in Taylorville, Illinois and graduated Taylorville High School with the Class of 1956. He married Rosemary Dudra on July 11, 1959 in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Pana. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Pana, Pana Knights of Columbus, and Pana Sportsmans Club.

Louis Tyrone Corso was a pipefitter for Caterpillar in Decatur for 45 years. Louis Tyrone Corso is survived by: Wife: Rosemary Corso of Pana, Illinois; Daughter: Mary Beth (Mayor Bruce) Barry of Taylorville, Illinois; Son: Louis Keith Corso of New York, New York; Granddaughter: Bailey (Jeff) Hancock of Taylorville, Illinois; Grandson: Ty Durbin of Taylorville, Illinois; Granddaughter: Lauren Barry of Springfield, Illinois; Grandson: Jim Barry of Taylorville, Illinois; Great- Granddaughter: Laila Hancock of Taylorville, Illinois; Great-Grandsons: Jace Hancock, Landyn Durbin, and Ashtyn Durbin all of Taylorville, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his Parents and Brother: Richard Corso.
