OBITUARY Louisa W King June 26, 1924 – November 1, 2018 Louisa S. Wilkinson King, 94, of Martinsburg WV passed away at River Oaks Nursing Home in Clarksburg on Thursday November 1, 2018. Louisa was born on June 26, 1924 in Westmoreland Pa to the Late Rev Luke Elisha Lewis and Louisa Jane Obanion. Louisa had seven brothers and sisters: Estella, William, Martha, Robert, Franklin, Sarah and Edward.

Who all preceded her in death. Louisa was married twice and preceded in death to her husband Emmett S. Wilkinson Sr and John King. Also preceding her in death are daughters Salina L. Wilson Kennedy (John) Serena A Nunn (George) and Noreen L Coleman (Marshall) and Granddaughter Tami Johnson-Steven.

Louisa was very active in churches throughout her life, starting out at Mt Zion Baptist in Clarksburg before relocating to Martinsburg in the Early 60s at the Ebenzer Baptist Church. She also was den mother to the cub scouts at Inwood WV over the years. Louisa main focus was providing joy through her charity work throughout martinsburg and working with children through the church and the cub scouts.

Later in life Louisa relocated to Winchester VA where she worked at Kmart for 13 years as the personnel manager. Louisa is survived by one son: Emmett S Wilkinson Jr (Vanclee) Grandchildren: Tina Dawson (Woodman), Felicia Carter (Stephen,) Emmett S Wilkinson III (Rose), George Nunn (Jolie), Darhius Nunn Sr. (Amy), Antoinette Singleton (Christopher “Doodle”) 12 Great Grandchildren and 14 Great-Great Grandchildren and one special niece Tracy Lewis. Family will receive friends at Rosedale Funeral Home, 917 Cemetery Rd Martinsburg WV on Saturday November 10 from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm with Interment following in Rosedale Cemetery, Condolences may be sent to www.
