Louise Call Bailey, 75, of Buckingham died January 3, 2018. She was born February 5, 1943 in Buckingham County, a daughter of the late George W. Call and Mable Call. Louise was a hard worker, whether cleaning house, ironing, cooking, child care or elder care; she touched many lives in the county.

Louise is survived by a son, Jack D. Bailey, Jr.; two daughters, Brenda West and Lisa Elgin; two sisters, Florence Banton and Shirley Flowers; seven grandsons, Chris Bailey, Justin Bailey, Robert Elgin, John Taylor Jr., Steven Elgin, Joshua Bailey and James Miller; two granddaughters, Nicole Bailey and Rebekah Bailey; a special aunt, Frances Call Taylor and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Bill Witt Bailey and two brothers, George W. “Dump” Call and James “Beanie” Call.
