OBITUARY Louise E Oswalt March 28, 1949 – September 25, 2018 Louise died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was a native and lifelong resident of Mobile and loved her summers spent on Mobile Bay in Point Clear. She graduated from Julius T. Wright School for Girls and Centenary College for Women.

Louise was a devout Christian and prayer warrior. Her faith was the centerpiece of her life and a of strength and assurance for her and her family. Louise was a member of Life Church and the Government Street Presbyterian Church.

Thoughtfulness of others was a hallmark of her life. In particular, Louise loved missions and supported them both financially and physically, serving in the mission field in Siberia, the Ukraine, Africa and Bangladesh. She was blessed to have travelled around the world.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Guy Coleman Oswalt, Jr., her children Guy Coleman Oswalt, III (Ashley), Margaret Vidmer Hutchison (Lyle), her grandchildren Lyle Emory Hutchison, IV, Marion Louise Hutchison, Guy Coleman Oswalt, IV, Grace Sauer Oswalt, her brothers Frank P. Ellis, IV and John Stanley Ellis, and a large family and devoted group of friends. The family wishes to thank her care givers Mary Gray, Taheera Jackson, Payton Davis and Gloria Daniel and her dedicated staff. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Great Commission International School Fund (8701 Zeigler Boulevard, Mobile, Alabama, 36608), the Music Fund at Government Street Presbyterian Church (300 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama, 36602 or to the charity of your choice.
