Louise’s Obituary Louise (Paul) Solomon, 85, formerly of Lansford, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Maple Shade Meadows Assisted Living in Nesquehoning. She was the widow of the late Michael Paul and the late Andrew Solomon. Born in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late Louis Vitek and Josephine (Valky) Vitek.

She was a graduate of the former Lansford High School. Louise was an Artist having been an honorary member of the Carbon County Art League. She was a volunteer for the No.

9 Mine Museum in Lansford. Louise was involved in the Lansford Historical Society and Lansford Alive. She was a member of the former St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Lansford.

Louise was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Surviving are two Sons, Louis Paul and his wife Mary Lou (Kennedy) Paul of Nesquehoning and Richard Paul and his wife June of Mt. Laurel, NJ; 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; a Sister-in-law, Helen Vitek of McAdoo; Several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by a Brother, Richard Vitek. Funeral Service is on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. from the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Summit Hill.

Calling Hours are Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Contributions, in Louise’s Memory, may be made to St. Luke’s Hospice or the Lansford Historical Society c/o the funeral home. Online Condolences may be shared at www.
