Obituary for Louise R. Hall Softly in the morning, you heard a gentle call, you took the hand God offered you and quietly left us all…. . Louise R. Hall, 89, of Lounsberry, passed away Friday morning, March 9, 2018.

She is survived by her husband Neil, a brother Ernie Osbourne. , son and daughter-in-law: Curt and Tammy Hall; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Mat Laba; grandson Danny (Kelli) Hall; granddaughter Kristina (Shawn) Hovencamp; six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law Barbara Hall.

Louise lived the first 37 years of her life on Cornell Hollow where her parents owned a dairy farm. She was very proud of the years she spent working on the farm with her parents. Louise was an avid horse lover.

She was a member of the Eastern Star and lifelong congregant of the Whittemore Hill Church. She also worked many years at Endicott Johnson and IBM. Louise married Neil Hall in 1965 and together they lived the Lounsberry raising her son and daughter.

Neil and Louise spent more than 20 summers on Oneida Lake where they made many friends. She enjoyed cooking and tending to her family during the many cookouts and holiday meals at her home. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Tuesday, March 13th from 5 to 7 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 272 S. Main St., Nichols.

A period of visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 12 to 1 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel. A funeral service and celebration of her life will follow at 1 pm. Memories and condolences may be shared by visiting her guest book at www.
