Louise Trent March 09, 1927 – February 27, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Louise Barnes Trent, age 91, of Brandenburg, KY passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. Louise was born March 9, 1927 in Elizabethtown, KY to the late Cecil David Barnes and Bessie Mae Ferguson Barnes. Her daughter, Bessie L. Goodwin; grandson, Arthur Ray Davis, Jr. and step great grandson, Jacob Eiler preceded her in death.

Louise was a member of Weldon Christian Church and she loved her flowers and feeding her birds. Louise is survived by her husband, Alton E. “Curly” Trent of Brandenburg, KY; children, Thelma Jean (Jr. Basham) Basham, Timothy R. (Kathy Lynn) Bennett, Judy Ann (Dennis) Allen and Eddie Bennett all of Brandenburg; grandchildren; Bobby Eiler, Jimmy Eiler, Jeannie Davis, Scott Goodwin, Christy Rogers, Elizabeth Roger, Shane Bennett, Justin Bennett, Josie Bennett, Lisa Brown, Michael Brown and Brandon Brown; 43 great grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 12 noon from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Weldon Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, March 1 from 2-8 P.M. EST and Saturday after 9 A.M. EST at the funeral home.
