Funeral service for Louise Wright Lawrence age 92 of Hartselle will be Monday, January 21, 2019 at 3:00p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Chuck Oden and Brother Greg Barbee officiating with burial in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lawrence, who was born May 25, 1926 in Morgan County to Louie Edward Wright and Mary Maudie Couey Wright, died in Friday, January 18, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hartselle. She enjoyed working and was the former director of the Somerville Senior Center, worked at the “Cookie Store”, Eastwood Elementary School in Decatur and also at both Hartselle Medical Center and Pineview Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Fred Lawrence and by her 5 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by a son; Freddie Don Lawrence (Betty), a daughter; Mary Lawrence Shelley (Ron) all of Hartselle, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Her grandsons and great-grandsons; Tyler Emerson, Logan Emerson, Carson Emerson, Matthew Johnson, Brayden Hallmark and Garrett Hallmark will serve as pallbearers.
