Obituary of Louise Morris Mary Louise Miears Morris, age 93 years 3 months and 12 days old went to be with her Lord and loved ones gone on before her on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. She was born at Valliant, OK on December 5, 1925 to Lealus (Lee) Miears and Hester Viola Harrison Miears. Louise lived most of her life at Wright City, OK.

She married Pete Morris on November 10, 1945 at Idabel, OK. Together they had seven wonderful children, Hester J. (Nita) Reed and husband, (Robert) of Powderly, TX, Pete Ronald (Ronnie) Morris, Jr. and wife (Wanda) of Wright City, OK, Sharon A Green and husband R.C. (Rocky) of Wright City, OK, Cathy G. Norman and husband (Bill Lacy) of Valliant, OK, Covel L. Johnson and husband Floyd (Jerry) of Valliant, OK; and her special grandson, Justin Dewayne Johnson of the home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years; her parents, two sons, Marion Lealus Morris and James Morris; two grandsons, Billy Lee Morris and R. Jake Andrew Green; two brothers, Thomas Joseph (Tommy Joe) Miears and Jimmy LaNeal (Neal) Miears.

Louise is survived by her five children and their spouses; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marion Lee Miears of Sand Springs, OK and William Earl (Burly) Miears and wife Alma of Hominy, OK; one sister-in-law, Dorothy (Miears) Bowdien of Prattsville, AL, along with many nieces, nephews and a large host of friends. She was a self-taught seamstress, master gardener and she loved to paint, but her passion was always feeding her family, friends and anyone who came to her table. She was a loving caregiver to her mother-in-law, her mother and her husband during their final journeys home.

She loved working in her flower garden and canned all her own vegetables every summer. She was very loved by all and will be greatly missed. Our loss is Heaven’s gain.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the White Family Chapel with Bro. Randy Watkins officiating. Interment will follow at the Valliant Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the funeral home.
