Obituary for Lourdes “Lou” Tackman Lourdes Tackman, age 88, of Shelby Township, passed away on December 25, 2018. Lou was born on February 10, 1930 in Worland, Wyoming. Lou is the beloved wife of the late William H. Tackman; the loving mother of Michael W. (Terri) Tackman, Patricia Lou Bishop, and Suzanne Marie (Bill) Shaw; proud grandmother of Michael (Erica) Tackman, Kristen (Mike) Baffo, Angela Balowski Chahine, Carly (Ted) Dickinson, Lindsey (John) Kelly, and Ben Shaw; the cherished great-grandmother of David, Angelina, Penelope, Teddy, Natalie, Ally, and Harper; and the dear sister of Ruth White, Clara Sewell, David Vigil, and Ted Vigil.

Lou is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Claudina Vigil, her husband, William Tackman, and her siblings, Anthony, Paul, Johnny, Matthew, and Elva. Lou’s family will receive friends on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 5:00p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica.
