Obituary for Louvenia Sims Pate Mrs. Louvenia Sims Pate, 70, of Lancaster, widow of Jerry Glenn Pate, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born May 10, 1948 in Kershaw, a daughter of the late Boston Sims and Lillie Mae Faile Sims. Mrs. Pate is survived by a son, Jerry Russell Pate and his wife Mandi of York; a daughter, Lisa Ann Pate and her husband Donnie of Lancaster; four sisters, Mary C. Small of Chester, Ida Horne of Pageland, Brenda Sutton of Salisbury and Karen “Sissy” Carnes of Heath Springs; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Pate was preceded in death by seven sisters and four brothers. The family will receive friends at the home of Lisa and Donnie Pate, 3606 Flat Creek Road, Lancaster on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from noon until.
