Loyce Irline Becker, 78, of Brownstown, died at 5:44 a.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL. Loyce was born on Thursday, August 8, 1940 in Covington, OK to Floyd and Vada (Beckendorff) Jordan, Sr She married Ralph Walter Becker on November 29, 1961 in Brownstown, IL.

He preceded her in death on November 3, 2006. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia and the Golden Years Club, Brownstown. Grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kramer of Belleville, Michael Kramer of Hawaii, James Balasch of Ottawa, Ontario, Joseph Balasch, Matthew Balasch, Hannah Balasch, Lydia Balasch, and Deborah Balasch all of London, Ontario. Great granddaughter Keely McMurray of Belleville. Brother, Floyd Jordan, Jr. and Donna of Granite City, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Burial will be in Griffith Cemetery, Brownstown and a family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Brownstown Golden Years Club, Brownstown Community School District #201 Foundation, or Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia.

Gieseking Funeral Home, Brownstown is assisting the family with arrangements.
