Obituary for Lucile Gibson On September 29, 2018, Lucile (Lucy) Gibson went to be with her Savior at the age of 102 in Red Oak, Texas. Lucy was born on August 15, 1916 in Erick, Oklahoma to Houston and Agnes Gibson. She spent the majority of her life serving the Lord as the pastor’s secretary for Dr. Herschel H. Hobbs (Mr. Baptist) at the First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City (FBCOKC) and volunteering at the hospital/church activities.

Lucy loved the Lord and the “SOONERS”. Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, brother Wilbur Gibson and wife Eleanor, brother Raymond Gibson and many other relatives. She is survived by her two sisters Ophelia Waldrop and Lois Yeary, many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
