April 2, 1934 – Feb 13, 2019 Over 70 years ago Mother Law made a vow to the Lord, and never looked back. Under the leadership of the Late Bishop E. D. Davis she was baptized and filled with God’s Precious Holy Ghost, and stayed on that straight and Holy Ghost path until her demise on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at a local hospital. She was a faithful member of the Church of God Pentecostal, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Drive.

On a bright sunny, spring day her parents the late Rufus & Catherine Tait Packer rejoiced on April 2, 1934 in Monroe County, Packers Bend, Al) upon the birth of a bouncing baby girl they named Lucille. She met and married a wonderful Holy Ghost filled gentleman that everyone called Deacon Simon. (Eles) They were the parents of eight delightful children.

Lucille graduated from Cedar Grove Academy, and received nursing training from Providence Hospital. Mother Law always knew that the Lord would supply all her needs, and boldly attest that” His Grace was sufficient”. Therefore, he placed in her life another Man of God, the late Deacon Booker Law, Sr.; a prayer warrior bar none.

Her presence will certainly be missed and her memory shall forever be cherished by her loving daughters, Olivette Simon Nelson, Sacramento, CA and Lucy Simon Thomas, Mobile, Al; four sons, Eles Simon, Jr., Mobile, AL, Fredrick Simon, Atlanta, Ga, Alfred (Saundra) Simon (caregivers), Anthony D.
