Lucille’s Obituary Lucille R. (Martin) Marsico, age 83, of Valencia, formerly Shaler Township, went to eternal rest on January 27, 2019 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Raymond V. Marsico. Lucille is the beloved sister of Richard (Karen) Martin and Barbara (James) Gosnell.

Much loved aunt of Richard Gosnell, Cindy (Kevin) Boslet, Jeffrey (Robin) Martin, Ryan (Lucinda) Martin, and the late Lynley Martin Fausnet. Great-aunt of Brittany, Jessica, Allison Boslet and Drew, Page, Molly, and Penny Martin. She is also the Godmother of Ron Gentile, Rodger Cialdella, Lynley and Cindy.

She is also survived by many extended family members and friends. Lucille retired from PPG Industries after 35 years service as an Office Facilities Coordinator which included planning and organizing the move to the current PPG Tower complex in downtown Pittsburgh. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, was an avid card player, and volunteered with many local charities including St.Barnabas and her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi.

She was the official organizer of the Gentile family reunions and a family function was never complete without her famous pizzelles. She never missed a family gathering and was always there to support her family. To celebrate the beautiful life of Lucille, friends will be received Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Richard Church with interment to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, Breast Cancer Research and be mailed to: Development Office, UPMC Cancer Pavilion, Suite 1B, 5150 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15232.
