Lulu L. Barber Of Northbrook, formerly of Mid Florida Lakes, Leesburg, FL Lulu L. Barber was born on November 3, 1920 in Cumberland, WI to Charles and Louise (nee Bruger) Meyer. She died Monday, February 18, 2019 in Northbrook. Mrs. Barber worked as a teletype operator for Teletype Corporation in Skokie, where she worked in plating until her retirement in 1976.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Eustis, FL. Lulu was an avid card player and loved to socialize with family and friends. Lulu is survived by her children, Louise (Joe) Rycraft and Gary (Linda) Kopernik, grandchildren, Gary Kopernik, Jr., Cathy (Bryan) Huston, Joe (Connie) Kopernik, Joe (Laura) Rycraft and Cara (Sean) Nicholson; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Luca, Leland, Bailey, Brayden, Rich, Nichole, Ashley, Matthew, Austin, Brianna, Taeghen, Jaythan, Kourtni and Justin; great-great Grandchildren, Zachary, Coner, Miles, Gianni, Sophie, Sabashtion, Peyton,and Ezekiel; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; her parents; and siblings Martha, Bessie, Viola, Mabel, Irene, Ethyl, George, Harold and John. Visitation Friday, February 22, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Service 11:00 am, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Glueckert funeral home.
