(Druckenmiller) Smetzler, 87, of Tiffin, passed away at 12:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the St. Francis Nursing Home in Tiffin. Lunetta was born on October 31, 1931 in Fremont, to the late Chester F. and Beatrice M. (Earhart) Druckenmiller. She married Harlow E. Smetzler in Greenup, KY, on August 28, 1948 and he preceded her in death on September 11, 2008.

Survivors include her two daughters, Renee Williams of Tiffin, Robin (Mike) Cleary of Clyde, ten grandchildren, Eric (Angie) Elchert, Sarah (Dave) Porter, Dan (Sara) Elchert, Alisha Godfrey, Alex Elchert all of Tiffin, Ian (Amanda) Cleary of Clyde, Meghan (Jordan Huron) of Danville, IL, Justin Williams of Lancaster, Rachel Gottfried of KY and Michelle Holz of IN, twelve great-grandchildren. Lunetta was a homemaker and a volunteer for Community Hospice Care for many years. She was also a member of the Democratic Women of Seneca County and a member of TOPS.

Lunetta attended Fremont Ross High School. Lunetta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Russell Smetzler, a daughter-in-law, Michelle Smetzler, a son-in-law, Ron Williams, a grandson, Ryan Smetzler, two brothers, Wayne and Eldon Druckenmiller, and three sisters, Eloise Burmeister, Virginia Nehls and Elizabeth Platt. Visitation for family and friends of Lunetta will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 3-6 p.m., at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin.

There will be a private family burial held at Greenlawn cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care or St. Francis Home.
