Luther Lee Hoots, 86, of Lonoke passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was born in Florence, Illinois on August 20, 1932 to the late Rollie and Helen Hoots. He is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Hoots and a son, David Hoots (Linda). He is a Vietnam Veteran having served 22 ½ years in the United States Air Force as a military police officer. A visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Friday, January 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be at Lonoke Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society of Arkansas, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
