Obituary for Lydia “Lee” LeBlanc Lydia “Lee” Matherne LeBlanc passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. LeBlanc for 29 years. Mother of Sandra LeGlue (Terrell), Kenneth LeBlanc (Margaret), Paula LeBeau (Gayle), Donna Orr (Tracy), Mark LeBlanc (Chantelle), Anne Breaux (Randall), Nathan LeBlanc and the late Richard A. LeBlanc.

Daughter of the late Clairville and Nora Matherne. Sister of Terral Matherne, Lorraine Fanguy, Marie LeBouef, Carolyn Matherne and the late Hilda Breaux, Elaine Orgeron, Hilman Matherne, Francis Matherne, and Ray Matherne. Also survived 21 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a very loving person who loved to cook, loved basketball, ping pong, and having all her family around her having fun. She was a native of Bourg, LA and a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 146 Fourth Street, Westwego, LA on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11am.

Visitation will be held at the church from 9am until 11am. Interment, Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Louisiana Hospice and Monique Jackson for their loving care.
