Lynda Fay Payne age 70 of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Seven Springs Rehab and Nursing Center. Born September 7, 1948, in Wynne, Arkansas she was the daughter of the late Albert and Hazel Lovelady Russell. Before her retirement Lynda was employed by Addison Shoe Factory in Wynne, Arkansas.

Her hobbies included reading, working crossword puzzles and watching Antiques Road Show. Lynda was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Payne, JR. , her parents and a brother, C.D. Russell.

Survivors include two daughters, Jan Neidhardt (Lewis) of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and Angela Bowers (Jonathen) of Earle, Arkansas; one son, Joseph T. Payne (Kim) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; one brother, Eldon Russell of Heber Springs, Arkansas; two sisters, Joyce Russell of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas and Dorothy Houston of Heber Springs, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Clinton Baillie, Anthony Payne, Breanna Gillion, Zachary Baillie, Kayla Pope, Alexandria Bowers and Jonathen Bowers III; five great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Collins, JR. , Anthony Payne, JR, Kali Miller, Ni’jah Payne, Aavah Logan and many friends. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
