Obituary of Lynda Hairrell Lynda Lee Hairrell, age 78, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at her home in Idabel, OK. She was born on July 15, 1940 in Mount Vernon, IL, the daughter of Walter Lynn Smith and Lora Squires Smith. Lynda worked in banking for many years.

She worked at First State Bank in Idabel and was an accomplished commercial construction lender in Cushing, OK for several years. An avid pilot, Lynda had received her private pilot’s license which allowed her to fly to construction sites. She and her husband lived in Colorado for several years before moving back to Idabel 7 years ago.

They very much loved the scenery and beauty of Colorado. She enjoyed fishing and was affiliated with the Trinity Baptist Church in Idabel. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lynda is survived by her husband, Jesse Howard Hairrell of Idabel, OK; son, Howard Dean Hairrell of Valliant, OK; daughters, Dana Fisher of Cushing, OK and Susie Hairrell of the Redland Community, OK; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held in Colorado at a later date.
