Lynn’s Obituary Lynn Allen, 64, passed Saturday, February 16, 2019. Born in Bluffton, but raised in Markle, he was a son to the late Ival and Lois (Slater) Allen. Lynn graduated from Norwell High School; he played in the Marching Band as well as the Stage Band.

He had worked for Zumbrun Construction Company and Es Wire & Cable until he was disabled. His first love was the lake, spending time fishing and relaxing. He was an avid Cubs fan and loved the fact that he got to see them win the World Series and was also a Colts fan, IU & Purdue basketball fan.

He is survived by his devoted wife of almost 43 years, Sharen Allen; daughter, Lindsay (Chris) Dempsher; siblings, Dennis (Joyce) Allen, Susan Allen, and Gary (Karen) Allen; and his two furry friends, Maggie Mae and Zoey, who always made him smile and who he loved dearly; nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephews, who he enjoyed spending time with all. Memorial Service is 11 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 4-7 pm.
