Obituary of Lynn Ferrando AIKEN, SC—Lynn Seigler Ferrando, age 62, entered into rest peacefully Monday, April 16, 2018 at her residence. Lynn was born January 17, 1956 in Aiken, SC to the late Jodell and Dorothy Seigler. She was proud to be a life-long area resident of the Seigler Crossing Farming Community in Aiken.

Lynn graduated with honors from USC with a BSN and spent her career as a Registered Nurse. She had a big heart and loved taking care of people, especially her late mother. Lynn was a quiet conservative and loved the goodness of our country.

She was a soft and genteel southern lady and believed in the Second Amendment of the US Constitution. She was a fighter and fought a terminal genetic heart disease with strength. Lynn was blessed to receive a heart transplant in Oct.

2012 and was always humble and grateful of the donor and her family. Lynn’s new heart gave her 5 ½ years with her family and friends. Lynn is survived by her beloved husband, Michael J. Ferrando; Charmin the cat; a sister, Elaine Seigler Berry (Henry), Aiken, SC; special nieces and nephews, Jennifer Berry Campbell (Joel), Jance and Jackson Campbell; Winston the dog; aunt, Linda Hunt; and cousin, Tammy Worrell.

The many friends, co-workers, relatives, and former patients will miss her warm smile and southern grace. No formal services will be held. Memorial contributions may be directed in her honor to: John Hopkins ARVD Program, Duke University Heart Program, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
