Mabel Sue Schloesser, 53, of Milton, WI passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Janesville. Mabel was born on June 14, 1965 in Tomah, WI, the daughter of Sandra Smith. She worked as a CNA at Countryside Nursing Home for 16 years and worked the last 8 years at Milton Senior Living.

Mabel Sue enjoyed music, reading and writing. Her favorite artists being, Ozzy Osbourne and Aerosmith. She loved her job, co-workers and residence she cared for over the years.

Mabel Sue was… Read More » known for her contagious laugh and willingness to find the good in any situation. She loved to skydive and took interest in discovering new things. Her love for her family was immeasurable and she would always help anyone in need.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson. Mabel is survived by her daughters: Sarah Schloesser-Stenulson of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Samantha (Adam) Sutton of Fort Atkinson, WI; grandchildren: Jude, Lillian, Taylen, Evan, Harlow; brother: Jack Mass of Holmen, WI; sister: Barbara (Mike) Vaughn of Milton; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Roy) Keller, Jessica Hembrook, Jolene Sterken, Travis Maass, Corey Maass, Jenica Maass, many great nieces and nephews, and best friend, Stacy Mortimer of Milton. She was preceded in death by her mother.

A special thank you to all the caring doctors, nurses and hospital staff at Mercy Hospital for their compassion and dedication. A celebration of life will be held at The Milton Community House located by Educators Credit Union in the Town of Milton, Saturday October 20th from 12pm to 5pm. “If I have harmed anyone in any way either knowingly or unknowingly through my own confusions, I ask their forgiveness.

If anyone has harmed me in any way either knowingly or unknowingly through their own confusions, I forgive them. And if there is a situation I am not yet ready to forgive, I forgive myself for that. For all the ways that I harm myself, negate, doubt, belittle myself, judge or be unkind to myself through my own confusions, I forgive myself”.
