Obituary for Madeline Guerrette WATERBURY Mrs. Madeline (Turmel) Guerrette, 78, wife of the late Milton Guerrette, formerly of Wolcott, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday at VITAS unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. Born in Waterbury on May 21, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William and Claire (Bruneau) (Turmel) Roberts. She enjoyed going shopping and having lunch with her daughters as well as cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting and crafts.

Most of all she loved spending time with her family no matter what they were doing. Madeline is survived by three daughters, Roxanne and her husband Mark Subramani of Wolcott, Glenda and her husband Bruce Bradshaw, Lisa and her husband Scott Shappy all of Waterbury, six granddaughters Ritisha and her husband Antonio, Aneesa, Alyssa, Jennifer, Stephanie and Katelyn, three great granddaughters Lilyana, Isabella, and Adelina, a sister–in-law Sarah Turmel of TX. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a brother John Turmel.

Madeline’s family would like to thank VITAS caregivers at St. Mary’s Hospital for the excellent care that she received. Funeral will be Tuesday 9AM from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott to the Shrine of St. Anne 515 South Main St. for Mass at 10 AM.

Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 5 to 8 PM. Visit www.
