Obituary for Maggie Johnson Magdalene “Maggie” Johnson, 94, of South Point, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 24, 2018. Maggie was born January 24, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Daniels; husband, Elder Earl Johnson; son, Charles E. Daniels; sister, Irene Copney and two brothers, Bishop David (Lois) Daniels Jr. and Shelley Daniels.

Maggie is survived by 5 grandchildren: Kathy J. Weems of Lexington, KY, Charles M. Daniels of Columbus, OH, Angela J. Tomlinson of Chester, VA, Melissa Y. Quarterman of Chester, VA, and Amanda Daniels of Santa Maria, CA; special Nephew, Timoth Copney of Baltimore, MD; and a host of great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends. Maggie was a member of New Jerusalem Christian Center, Ironton, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday April 28, 2018 at New Jerusalem Christian Center 624 S 10th St. in Ironton, Ohio by Bishop Kenneth Listah.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.
