Malvina Duane, 68, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by her loving family at home on Friday, November 16, 2018. She was born Malvina Wanot on March 29, 1950 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she grew up. Later in life, Malvina moved to Highlands, New Jersey to raise her family and in 2010, settled in Union Beach, New Jersey with her son, Sean.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Sabina (Matelski) Wanot. Malvina is survived by her loving son, Sean Mare and his wife, Katherine, of Union Beach, New Jersey, her best friend, Charlene Fentiman, and her dear previous sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pauline and Nicky Marrone. Malvina is also survived by her beloved furry friends, her dogs: Jake, Leo, Monkey, and Samson, who was always by her side and her constant caring companion.

Malvina will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. In respect of Malvina’s wishes, she will be privately cremated. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey.
