Patricia A Cribbin , December 22, 1934 — October 31, 2018

Patricia A. Cribbin, 83, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday evening, October 31, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She was born Patricia A. Davis on December 22, 1934 in Elizabeth, New Jersey and grew up in Jersey City. On May 28, 1955 Patricia and her husband, Thomas, were married and began their life together in Jersey City.

A few years later in 1960, they settled in Hazlet to raise their family. Prior to marriage, Patricia worked as a secretary and after marriage, devoting her time to raising her beloved family was her top priority. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Millard and Elsie (Starner) Davis, her beloved husband, Thomas John Cribbin Sr., her loving son-in-law, Ken Schreiber, and her dear niece and very close friend, Ellen Compesi. Patricia is survived by her loving children, Thomas John Cribbin Jr. and his wife, Terri, of Stanford, Connecticut, David Joseph Cribbin and his wife, Christina, of Pinellas Park, Florida, Patricia Ann Schreiber of St. Augustine, Florida, Karen Marie Fitzpatrick and her husband, John, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, Jane E. Steinberg and her husband, Steven, of Port Reading, New Jersey, and Jeanne M. Chelston and her husband, Steven, of Beachwood, New Jersey. She is also survived by her dear nephew, Jamie Compesi, her cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Kenneth, Stephanie, Tommy III, Ryan, Scott, Shannon, Sara, Taylor, Sean C., Sean F., Lisa, Devon, Kelly, Caitlin, Jeff, Morgan, and Bobby, and her adored great grandchildren, Brielle and Bridget.

Patricia will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning, November 3, 2018 from 8:15 to 9:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday morning, November 3, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.
