Barbara A. Choy, 84, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey. She was born Barbara Kerins on December 18, 1933 in Bronx, New York, where she resided until 1992 when she moved to Hazlet, New Jersey. Barbara loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family.

Barbara will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her parents, Sarah (McQuade) and John Kerins, her beloved husband, Jimmy R. Choy, her dear sister, Margaret Telesky, her sister-in-law, Theresa Kerins, her brother-in-law, William Telesky and her grandson, Jared Jung. Barbara is survived by her loving children, Candace Lichtbach and her husband David of Whittier, California, John C. Jones of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Leah Jung and her husband Carl of Kingman, Arizona, Elaine Jamie Skopetos and her husband, Christopher of Hazlet, New Jersey, Jimmy R. Choy and Philomena of Winder, Georgia, and Diane Nowicki and her husband Robert of Hazlet, New Jersey, her siblings, Jackie Kerins, and James Kerins and is wife, Arlene, her cherished grandchildren, Christopher and David Jones, Jimmy and Jason Choy, Christopher Skopetos, Elena Skopetos and her fiance, Sam Rogal, and John and Chace Lichtbach, and the late Jared Jung, and her adored great-grandchildren Gabriella, Rosella and Annabella Jung, Harley and Nathan Lichtbach, and Evelyn Choy.

Barbara is also survived by with many cherished nieces, and nephews. Barbara will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday morning, December 13, 2018 from 8:00 to 8:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday morning, December 13, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.
