Robert Donohue, 54, “also known as Robbie,” passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at home. Robert was born on June 14, 1964 in Red Bank, New Jersey. He was raised in Hazlet and recently resided in Matawan, New Jersey.

Robert worked as a chef/owner of the Thorne Creek Grill in West Keansburg, New Jersey. He was also a member of the Keyport/Matawan Elks, Branch 2030. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Margaret (Fleming) and John Donohue.

He is survived by his dear siblings, John Donohue of Long Branch, New Jersey, Mary Hull and her husband Charles of Wall, New Jersey, Thomas Donohue of Highlands, New Jersey, Michael Donohue of Manalapan, New Jersey, and Christina Whalen and her husband, Frank of Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, and his dear nieces and nephews, Dominic Sestito, Rose Cittadino, Jes Donohue, Ryan Brennan, Casey Fury, Jessica Bopf, Andrew Popper, Alyssa Hull and Meghan Donohue. He is also survived by many great-nephews. Robert will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
