Mother Mamie (Buckner) Williams was born June 16, 1927 to the late Julia Turner Buckner and Shade Buckner in Richland, AR. She was introduced to Christ at an early age at Mazzell Missionary Baptist Church in Moscow, AR under the leadership of Pastor Silias Easter. Later she joined Oak Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor George Parker and then she moved her membership to First Pentecostal Church in Tucker, AR which is now New Beginnings Apostolic Temple of Deliverance in England, AR under the pastoral of Bishop Jethro Harris, Jr she remained faithful there until she went home to be with the Lord.

Mother Mamie was a homemaker, a loving wife, and an amazing mother, and a grandmother, who not only loved her family but cherished them very dearly. She loved to cook for her family with great passion and love. She was a God fearing, caring, loving woman all around until she was called home to be with the Lord.

Mother Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Turner Bucker and Shade Bucker; her husband, Willie Williams, Sr; three sons, Oliver Freeman Jr, John Williams and Eddie Jackson; one daughter, Dorthra Thomas; five brothers, and three sisters. Mother Mamie leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Ezekel Buckner of England, AR; Willie Williams, Jr. and Curylee Williams both of Tucker, AR; and Kenny Bucker of California; four daughters, Clemestine Reed and Wynece (M.L.) Logan both of Sherril, Arkansas; Gessie Boyd and Amy Bucker both of California; one special granddaughter, Catherine Buckner of England, AR; four goddaughter, Melinda Reed of Little Rock, AR; Martha Oats and Yolanda Harrison both of England, AR and Kimberly White of Humphrey, AR; 43 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren with a host of other relatives and friends.
