Manuel passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. He was born September 12, 1970 in Olney, Texas to Manuel and Senaida Benavides (Castaneda) Barbosa.

Manuel was a lifelong resident of the Tyler/Lindale area and worked as a Landscaper and with the maintenance department at Lindale ISD. He enjoyed sports, cars, spending time outdoors and with his family. Manuel is preceded in death by his Father, Manuel Barbosa Sr

He is survived by his wife, Sofia Barbosa of Lindale; Son, Samuel Barbosa of Lindale; Daughter, Erica Barbosa and husband, Cody of Chandler; Brothers, Daniel Cardenas of Tyler and Guillermo Soto of Tyler; Sisters, Noma Blas of Tyler and Vanessa Rosales of Tyler; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
