Obituary for Manuel “Jim” Jimenez Manuel “Jim” Jimenez, 80, of Eutawville, husband of Beverly Ann Jimenez, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at his residence. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 o’clock on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church.

An Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 11000 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC. Flowers will be accepted. Jim was born on September 25, 1938 in Bronx, NY, son of the late Manuel and Josephine Jimenez.

After graduating high school, he joined the USN and retired after 20 years. He then went to work for Robert Bosch after 26 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran.

He was an avid family man who enjoyed fishing and camping. Survivors including his wife Beverly are: five children: Manuel Jimenez (Carla) of Edisto, Tina Morris (Enrico) of Eutawville, Anthony J. Jimenez (Susan) of Moon township, PA, Salvador N. Jimenez (Marilyn) of Greenville and Christopher L. Jimenez (Christina) of Eutawville; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister: Diana Rodnite of Long Island, NY; one sister in law: Marlene Murray of Summerville; one brother in law: Chester Hanson of Walterboro. He was predeceased by one sister: Livindo Rapposelli.
