VAN WERT, Ohio – Marcia Ann (Severn) Stuckey Darras, 85, of Van Wert, was called by Our Lord on June 18, 2018, at CHP Home Care and Hospice Center of Van Wert. She was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Van Wert to Grace Viola (Dreyer) Severn and Sylvanus Budd (Dane) Severn, who have preceded her in death.

On Oct. 13, 1951, she married Jack “E” Stuckey, her best friend, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Van Wert, and he is deceased. On July 3, 1972, she married James Darras, who is also deceased.

Deceased is her son Barry J. Stuckey; her sister Coralie Wilson; her brother-in-laws Robert Wilson, Regis Clouse, Ralph Speakman and Frank Weddle; her half sisters Mary Elizabeth (Severn) Kennedy, and Ruth Alice (Severn) Bowsher. She is survived by her son S. Bruce Stuckey; fiancée Denise Brown of St. Marys; sisters Betty Weddle, and Marge Clouse both of Van Wert; brother Robert (Lois) Severn of Minster; and grandchildren Tiffany Marie Stuckey, Ryan Bruce Stuckey, and Taylor Sue Ann (Stuckey) Boroff. Marcia graduated from Van Wert High School.

She was an active member at the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. She took great pride in her home, her yard, her flower beds, and her family. Marcia retired after 30 years service working for International Harvester, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Funeral visitation will be held on Monday, June 25 from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. with service from 5 p.m.- 6 p.m. located at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Private Internment with family will be at Ridge Cemetery. Preferred memorials: CHP Home Care & Hospice; or St. Mark’s Lutheran Church; or a charity of the donor’s choice.
