Marcia Anne Appleton, 76 of Walton, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport. Born on May 4, 1942 in Logansport, she was the daughter to the late Raymond T. and Ruth E. (Nipple) Lacey. On June 26, 1960 in Clymers, Indiana she married Harold “Porky” Appleton who survives.

Marcia retired from Logansport Memorial Hospital. Surviving along with her husband Harold are two daughters, Sandy Flora, Delphi; and Kris Cover, Logansport; Grandchildren, Thad Nelson, Brittany Nelson, Kyle (Bri) Cover, Cameron Cover and Kaitlyn Cover; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Genie Felton, Betty Bair, Janet Hall, Becky Reynolds, Carol Lacey-Fisher and a brother John Lacey.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Father Clark Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery, Logansport. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
