Marcia’s Obituary Lynn Loney, 54, of Unionville, MO, passed away suddenly at her home of natural causes on Sunday, May 19, 2019. Marcia Lynn (Hoskin) Loney was born in Unionville, MO, on June 3, 1964, the daughter of Donald Max and Marcia (McCalment) Hoskin, who preceded her in death. She was reared in Belton, MO, and graduated from Belton High School.

Although reared in Belton, she spent her summers with her grandparents at McCalment Farms in Unionville. Lynn obtained her Associate of Arts degree then received her Bachelor of Science degree from Avila University. She finished her MBA at Baker University.

Lynn worked for several years as a research scientist for Bayer Crop Science. She also split time between her home in Louisburg, KS, and Unionville, MO, after her father died in order to operate McCalment Farms. Lynn married Randall Loney in Belton, MO, on September 19, 1987 and he survives.

Lynn loved animals, especially her dogs and cats and her Hereford cattle. She was involved in 4-H as a youngster and loved the legacy of McCalment Farms. She enjoyed jewelry and visiting with friends.

Lynn was a member of the Christian Church and was baptized in Belton, MO. In addition to her husband, Lynn is survived by her sister, Marna Hoskin of the state of California and two sisters-in-law, Barbara Loney and Rita (Tony) Sieleman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Lynn was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Dr. R. H. and Virginia McCalment. Memorial services for Lynn Loney will be at Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 24, 2019. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Putnam County 4-H and may be entrusted with Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
