Obituary for Marcie Hartman Marcelynn “Marcie” Hartman, 41, of Lake Charles, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 in her family home. Marcie as she was affectionately known was a very strong willed and driven lady. She excelled at anything she put her mind to.
Born and raised in Lake Charles, she graduated from LaGrange High School where she made many lasting friendships. Marcie attended McNeese State University and graduated in Pre-Med and went on to graduate from the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University with her Juris Doctorate and Doctor of Civil Law. She practiced law in Lake Charles as an Associate of Stockwell, Sievert, Viccellio, Clements and Shaddock, L.L.P. until she was no longer able to do so.
Left to cherish her memory are Marcie’s parents, Deborah and Ronnie Hebert, brothers Jesse Hartman and Brian Trahan, niece, Emily Cormier, and nephew, Gage Hartman. Preceding her in death is Maw Maw Billedeaux, our beautiful yellow butterfly and her loving sister, Leann Hartman Cormier. Marcie’s cremation was entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home a private memorial service will be held at a later time.
