Obituary for Libby Paulette Ogea Print Libby Paulette Ogea, 68, a resident of Lake Charles passed from this life on January 28, 2019 in a local hospital. Libby will be remembered for her warm and welcoming smile and her incredibly big heart. She never met a stranger and made many friends on her journey here on earth.

Her family will miss the meals she cooked for them every Friday Evening. She loved playing Bingo and traveling to Las Vegas. Mrs. Ogea is preceded in death by her parents, Murphy Broussard and Denezia ton, her daughter, Tammy LaRocca, and brother Randy Broussard.

Libby leaves to cherish her memory her children, Bruce Broussard and wife Paula of Lake Charles and her daughter, Shelly Knox and husband Steve of Lake Charles, her fiancé, Patrick Comeaux, sisters, Molly Myers and Loretta Miller both of Lake Charles, five granddaughters, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Funeral services will be held at Lakeside Funeral Home on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Mermentau Cemetery. Memories and words of comfort may be shared with the family at wwww.
