OBITUARY Donald John Meyer September 4, 1953 – January 17, 2019 Donald John Meyer, age 65, of Westlake, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Donald was born September 4, 1953. He was preceded in death by his father, Julis Meyer and wife, Gertie, and mother, Elenor Shidlo Nelson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years, Carlotta Meyer; son, Dustin Mason Meyer, daughter, Savannah Rose Meyer, brother, Russ Meyer and wife, Jackie, sister, Diane Meyer, sister, Autum Nelson, nephews, Andy, Rusty, and Donovan, and a niece, Julia. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Hixson Funeral Chapel of Lake Charles. Cremation was entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
