Marea Pappas June 21, 1932 – January 10, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Marea Pappas, 86 of Austin, Minnesota, died at her home on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Marea was born on June 21, 1932 in Austin, Minnesota to William and Marie (Skinner) Pappas. She graduated from Austin High School in 1950.

She was a long time employee in the accounting department of the Hormel Foods Corporation and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Marea was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Angela, Elaine and Rose; and brother, David James Pappas. She is survived by her cousins and friends including her life long friend, Margaret Owens, Austin, Minnesota.

She will be missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19th at Christ Episcopal Church with Father John Sullivan officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church one hour before the service on Saturday. Memorials are preferred to Christ Episcopal Church. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
